What we collect

• Account data: a username, an email address, and a password (stored only as a salted hash). An optional display name and public-profile flag if you enable a public profile.
• Fitness data you create: workout plans, logged sets/reps/weights, session history, yoga sessions, favorites, and preferences (music, trainer voice, units). This data exists so the app can function — tracking your training is the product.
• Device push tokens (native app only, with your permission): an Apple push token so we can deliver notifications such as trainer plan assignments. Declining notifications disables only this.

What we don't do

• No advertising trackers, no analytics SDKs, no fingerprinting, no selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers. Our public pages (the homepage, Learn library, and these pages) collect anonymous, aggregate visit statistics using our own self-hosted system — no cookies, no third parties, and nothing that can identify you or follow you across days or sites. Inside the app, once you are signed in, we collect nothing about your visit.
• No collection of contacts, location, photos, health records, or anything outside what you enter in the app.
• Guest mode works without an account; guest workout data stays on your device.

Affiliate links

Some screens may show gear recommendations that link to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. These are ordinary outbound links — Amazon's own privacy policy applies on their site, and we send them nothing about you.

Where data lives

Your data is stored on our servers (DigitalOcean, USA) over HTTPS. Login sessions use rotating tokens stored on your device. Trainer accounts you explicitly connect with can see the workouts they assign you and your logged results for those plans.

Your control

• Edit or delete logged workouts and plans at any time in the app.
• Account deletion: request it from Settings or via [email protected] — this removes your account and associated fitness data.
• Log out anywhere to revoke that device's session server-side.

Children

Workout Planner is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
